The Patient Access Representative manages patient registration, insurance verification, and point-of-service collections to ensure efficient patient flow. They are also responsible for scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records within the Epic system.
Candidates should ideally have a high school diploma and may be preferred if they hold a CHAA certification or are bilingual. Required certifications in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management and specific patient financial training must be completed shortly after hire.
