The AI Security Architect provides specialized engineering guidance for the secure development and deployment of AI/ML systems and LLMs. They collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security controls and mitigate AI-specific threats while protecting mission data and CUI.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. A current DoD Top Secret clearance and a relevant DoD 8140 security certification are mandatory.
The AI Security Architect provides specialized security engineering and architecture guidance for the secure integration, development, and deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI. This position serves as a security consultant to Mission Partners, system owners, ISSMs/ISSOs, architects, and development teams to ensure AI-enabled solutions protect mission information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) throughout model training, deployment, and inference.
The projected salary range for this position is $150,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.
