The IT Portfolio Manager oversees the IT investment portfolio and governance to ensure projects align with the strategic roadmap, budget, and scope. This role involves managing resource allocation, administering PPM software, and leading a team of IT Project Managers using agile practices.
Candidates need a bachelor's degree and over 8 years of experience in portfolio or business technology management, including 5+ years leading agile teams. PMP and Agile/Scrum certifications are preferred, along with experience in manufacturing environments delivering ERP or MES systems.
The IT Portfolio Manager will own the IT portfolio of investments and the portfolio management capability. This role will provide governance and oversight of IT projects to ensure goals are accomplished on time, and within scope and budget in alignment with the IT roadmap strategy. Provides strategic direction for the process, methodology, tool, demand intake and reporting/scorecarding within the portfolio. Utilizes servant leadership to an agile team by educating and coaching team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiencies, delivering incremental customer value, and embracing continuous improvement. This position will be part of the Information Technology team.
