The Hospice Team Physician provides expert medical care and symptom management for patients with life-limiting illnesses. They serve as a clinical leader for interdisciplinary teams, supervising providers and ensuring comprehensive documentation of terminal diagnoses.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license and DEA registration. Experience in hospice, palliative care, or as a hospitalist is strongly preferred along with current CPR certification.
The Hospice Team Physician plays a vital role in providing expert medical care to patients with serious, life-limiting illnesses and supporting their families throughout the hospice journey. This physician serves as a clinical leader for interdisciplinary hospice and palliative care teams, ensuring high-quality symptom management, medication oversight, and comprehensive documentation of terminal diagnoses.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with care teams, supervise advanced practice providers, educate clinical staff, and foster relationships within the medical community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for every patient and family we are privileged to serve across Ohio.
