The Fire Alarm Inspector is responsible for conducting code-compliant inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and suppression systems. They must also produce detailed deficiency reports, manage project schedules, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, 1-3 years of experience in the fire detection industry, and a NICET Level I certification. Proficiency in NFPA 72 and IFC codes, along with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks and maintain a valid driver's license, is required.
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide inspection and maintenance capabilities to the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia areas. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers’ systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are important elements of the position.
