The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and implements individualized treatment programs to restore function and prevent disability. Responsibilities include designing orthotic devices, recommending adaptive equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a valid NYS license. Current BLS certification and the ability to travel to regional worksites are also required.
The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans and provides occupational therapy treatment programs for patients whose injury or disease interferes with daily functioning. Provide skilled intervention using varieties of techniques that are appropriate to achieve identified goals, restore function or prevent disability. This position may work in an inpatient, outpatient or home care setting.
