Full job description
Territory Manager – Scotland – 12 month fixed term contract
Location – The ideal candidate will be based in the central belt of Scotland within easy commuting distance of Glasgow or Tayside area.
Ready to take ownership of a territory, build meaningful customer relationships, and make a real difference?
Whether you're an experienced healthcare sales professional or a high-performing salesperson looking to bring your skills into a rewarding new industry, this could be the opportunity for you.
At Coloplast, we're looking for a driven and commercially minded Territory Manager to join our growing Wound & Tissue Repair Team. If you're passionate about developing partnerships, identifying opportunities and delivering results, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing market share across the Coloplast Wound & Tissue Repair portfolio within both community and acute healthcare settings. You'll build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key decision-makers and wider NHS stakeholders, working collaboratively to identify opportunities and deliver value-focused solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Working closely with your Regional Sales Manager and cross-functional colleagues, you'll develop and execute territory business plans, conduct regular business reviews and ensure actions are followed through effectively. You'll stay informed of market developments and competitor activity, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen Coloplast's position and support continued growth.
The role also requires strong organisation and attention to detail, with responsibility for maintaining accurate customer records and activity through Salesforce. As you establish yourself within the territory, you'll develop a robust understanding of local NHS priorities, patient pathways and healthcare provider objectives, enabling you to deliver meaningful and commercially effective partnerships.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing sales role who enjoys building long-term relationships and delivering results. Whilst experience within medical devices or healthcare would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. We are equally interested in hearing from ambitious sales professionals from outside the industry who can demonstrate strong commercial acumen, account management skills and a genuine desire to learn and succeed within healthcare.
The successful candidate will be resilient, self-motivated and driven to exceed targets, with excellent communication and influencing skills. You'll be someone who can analyse information, identify opportunities and translate insights into action. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset is key, as is the ability to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
Why Coloplast?
Coloplast is a global leader in medical technology, developing innovative products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. As our WTR business continues to grow across the UK, we're investing in talented people who can help us expand our impact and build lasting relationships with customers.
At Coloplast, you'll be part of a purpose-driven organisation where your contribution genuinely matters. We offer a healthy bonus scheme, a choice of company car or car allowance, Private Medical Insurance, and access to ongoing learning and development opportunities. You'll be supported by a collaborative and inclusive culture that encourages personal growth, professional development and career progression.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build a successful career while making a meaningful difference to patients' lives. Whether you already have healthcare experience or are looking to bring your sales expertise into a new and rewarding sector, Coloplast offers the support, training and opportunity to help you succeed.
Pursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. Employing about 16.000 people and with products available in more than 143 countries, we are one of the world´s leading medical device companies. We are constantly growing our business and always looking for new ways to move forward – we explore, learn and look for new ways of doing things.
Coloplast is committed to being an inclusive organization, where people bring their differences to work each day, fulfil their potential and have a strong sense of belonging because – and not despite – of their differences. We therefore encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of gender, age, race, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious belief or physical ability.
