Candidates must hold an unrestricted Arizona Psychiatrist license, DEA registration, and ABPN board certification. Experience with underserved populations and the ability to obtain BLS CPR certification are also required.

As a Correctional Psychiatrist, you will oversee clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health needs.
The Psychiatrist is responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnosing mental health conditions to facility residents that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
