Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
Role Purpose:
Provide finance support to the Property Management and financial reporting teams with particular emphasis on arranging the billing, accruals and variance analysis vs forecast.
Core Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Property Managers and Partners to ensure the forecast is kept up to date, querying and understanding any changes.
Raise fees in line with the forecast, ensuring correct coding is used.
Investigate and explain variances against forecast, preparing clear commentary and discussing findings with Partners each month.
Process ad hoc fees and credits as required.
Prepare and submit monthly accruals with accuracy and attention to detail.
Support Client Accounting with any service charge year end queries.
Monitor aged corporate fees, helping to resolve outstanding items and improve debt performance.
Provide analytical and administrative support to the Commercial Operations & Revenue Manager on ad hoc projects and reporting.
Candidate Required Skills:
A solid understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong Excel capability — including lookups, pivot tables, SUMIFS, and confident formatting.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to confidently prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
A proactive mindset — comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Experience in the Property Services industry is beneficial but not essential.
Candidate Required Qualifications:
AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified
Finance‑related Master of Science degree
Qualified by experience with demonstrable financial analysis capability.
Working Details:
This is a hybrid working role. Circa 3 days a week required in the Birmingham office.
Working hours are 9:00 – 17:30. Flexible working can be agreed.
