The software engineer will perform full lifecycle system engineering tasks for high performance computing and large data analytics projects. Responsibilities include developing software, configuring systems, and creating technical documentation for system changes.
Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and possess a degree in computer science or a related discipline. A minimum of five to nine years of relevant software engineering experience is required depending on the level of education.

Required Experience:
Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an
accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and
contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or
university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
complexity.
Position Required Skills:
- Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI)
- Strong scripting experience (Bash, Python, Groovy)
- Recent Java software development experience in Linux environments
- Experience developing with the Spring Framework
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker
- Experience with Apache Velocity
- Experience with OpenSearch
- Experience using the Atlassian plugin SDK, to create and extend the Atlassian suite of
applications
- Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
Position Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools
