The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying applications, configuring complex software, and managing network servers. They will also monitor system performance and provide 24/7 on-call support for troubleshooting issues.
Candidates must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph and be a U.S. citizen. A minimum of three years of experience in software development or engineering and a bachelor's degree are required.

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support modernization effort to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages.
Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the first team is paged for after-hours support approximately once every couple of months with most issues resolvable by phone.
This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms.
