D&W is searching for a Service Coordinator for our location in Albany, New York. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, a mechanical background, preferably in the truck or automotive industry and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the activities of the branch service department which include both repair work and vehicle equipment upfitting.
Schedule work that meets the needs of our customers.
Supervise on vehicle technicians
Prepare estimates, quotations, and final bills for all branch service and install work.
Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the branch operations.
Provide customer service and sales support.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of service writing experience
Prior experience with diesel on and off highway a plus
Diagnostics experience desired
Working knowledge of both truck repair and vehicle upfitting is a plus
Strong technical/mechanical aptitude and experience
Ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities
Computer literate
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
