This role involves supporting warehouse shipping and receiving operations, including selecting and staging merchandise using forklifts. Additionally, the employee is responsible for transporting goods to customer locations using a Class A commercial vehicle while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.
Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and at least one year of verifiable Class 8 vehicle driving experience. A minimum of two years of warehouse experience and a ten-year verifiable employment history are also required.
This unique position supports the shipping and receiving of product in the warehouse and driving a route when necessary. Any employee who drives must be a CDL Class A driver and is responsible for transporting different types of goods from branch facilities to customer locations using a commercial truck. These drivers also must follow appropriate safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
