The candidate should also have experience in signing and pavement marking plans, erosion and sedimentation control, grading, and traffic control. The individual will also have an opportunity, if interested, in assisting with transportation planning, including active transportation plans, corridor master plans and trail routing and feasibility studies.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Technical design duties including performing multimodal design documents, calculations, report writing, specification development, and cost estimating.
Development of horizontal and vertical corridor design (streets, trails, etc.), including centerline alignments, vertical profiles, cross sections, and site grading.
The position will require coordination with internal project team members across several NV5 offices, including structural, geotechnical, traffic, and water resources engineers, as well as planners and landscape architects.
Coordination with subconsultants, public agencies, clients, participation in project meetings, and assisting with community engagement efforts as needed.
Participation in professional societies like ASCE, WTS, and ITE will be encouraged.
