The technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of production machinery, specifically plastic injection molding equipment. They must ensure product quality, perform preventive maintenance, and adhere to all safety protocols and work instructions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and three to five years of maintenance or production experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical equipment and the ability to interpret technical documents like blueprints and schematics are required.
You will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within the York, PA plant. Maintainers/Operators are responsible for all production, maintenance, including product quality control, line maintenance, and repair of the line machinery and equipment. This role involves applying mechanical expertise in determining work methods and procedures for producing quality product including but not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining plastic injection molding equipment and all ancillary equipment used in the process.
