Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in general heavy machinery operation. Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to read charts, graphs, and lot diagrams.

This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Wilmington is seeking a Backhoe Operator who will be responsible to coordinate and perform the activities related to the efficient and safe excavation of graves. In addition, the Backhoe Operator is responsible for planning and directing the best route into an excavation area and will guide the assigned truck driver into this area. The Backhoe Operator acts as a team leader in all excavation and interment set up operations.
The schedule for this full-time position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, but may occasionally require days or times outside the normal work schedule.
