The Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling and de-fueling of aircraft, as well as performing de-icing functions. They must also maintain fueling equipment and ensure accurate accounting of all fuel transactions.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three to six months of related experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.

The following are essential to the job, in addition to those listed above and on the chart in this description. Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).
