Job Overview Summary
The Security Service Technician I will be responsible for servicing and maintaining security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in security technology who are looking to grow their expertise in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
Respond to service calls and address client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to clients’ security operations.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on service status and offer guidance on system use.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures during all service activities.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What we Like about you:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or a related field is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in servicing security systems or a similar technical role.
Basic understanding of security system components and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific security system brands or technologies is advantageous.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, PSA) are a plus.
Physical Activities/Demands:
Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
