The Parts Counter Sales Person manages the end-to-end parts sales process and assists customers with special orders. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and communicating effectively with both staff and customers.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a service department and possess strong computer and mathematical skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and automotive industry knowledge is highly preferred.

Hours are 8-5 Monday – Friday.

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
Complete special order part request for the customer
Communicate with customer on parts status

Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Effective analytical and communication skills
Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
