What You'll Do
Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders accurately and on time.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance.
Complete plumbing repairs, including repairing leaks and removing clogs.
Perform minor electrical repairs and replace light fixtures and related components.
Repair appliances, locks, cabinets, walls, flooring, and other apartment features.
Complete painting, touch-ups, and other apartment make-ready duties.
Inspect vacant apartments and help ensure they are ready for move-in.
Maintain pools, equipment, common areas, grounds, maintenance rooms, and other property facilities.
Complete preventive maintenance projects and maintain accurate service records.
Report major repairs, safety hazards, and contractor needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Maintain an appropriate inventory of tools, parts, chemicals, and supplies.
Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of facility, commercial, or multifamily maintenance and mechanical repair experience.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, lighting, painting, flooring, and apartment repairs.
Ability to safely operate standard and specialized maintenance tools.
Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Professional customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
Certified Pool Operator and CAMT certifications preferred.
Technical school, associate degree, or relevant military training is a plus.
Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
