Manages mechanical, controls, and animation maintenance for attractions, including budgeting and oversight of routine and capital expenses. Leads supervisors in continuous improvement and ensures operational readiness and show quality through preventative maintenance programs.
Requires a high school diploma with a preference for degrees in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of theme park maintenance experience. Must possess NAARSO level 1 certification and have at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Manages the mechanical, controls, and animation maintenance activities in area of responsibility. Assists with oversight of all routine, capital, and expense budgeting and sets direction and priorities of all maintenance functions for the area of responsibility. Manages and leads supervisors on continuous improvement, personal development, and administration in area of responsibility. Oversees system and component design changes, directs the activities of outside vendors and construction for all attraction additions and/or modifications. Oversees, revises, and implements the preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure increased operational readiness and show quality. Manages and administers the annual inspection of all attractions in area of responsibility.
