The Finishing Foreperson will be responsible for supervising and managing the final stages of construction projects, ensuring all finishing work is executed to the highest standards. This person will play a pivotal role in delivering a polished and quality end product while maintaining safety and client satisfaction.
Oversee and coordinate all finishing aspects of the construction project, both interior and exterior.
Ensure finishing work aligns with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Manage and schedule subcontractors and tradespeople involved in finishing work.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and promptly address defects or deficiencies.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, and daily activities.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Manage purchasers snag list and key handover on the sale closing.
Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering a flawless final product.
Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong dedication to safety practices.
Relevant construction qualifications and certifications.
Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
A valid driver's license.
