Full job description
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role:
At Crusoe, we move fast and build things. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of materials from our manufacturing shops to job sites. This full-time role is critical to our production process. You will be responsible for the preparation, packaging, and continuous improvement of all shipping activities for the products and parts we manufacture. The ideal candidate has proven experience in shipping and logistics, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. You will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that the right materials arrive at the right place, on time.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Shipping & Logistics: Collaborate with the transportation coordinator to follow the shipping schedule, identify opportunities for efficiency, and prepare and process all required documentation, including shipping invoices and packing slips. You will also coordinate and perform the loading of outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage.
Material Handling & Inventory: Inspect all incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy and quality. You will be responsible for tagging all materials with the required information and using a pallet jack or forklift to move materials throughout the shop and load/unload delivery trucks.
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Ensure all quality check sheets are completed to company standards before final packaging. You will photograph projects to create a quality history and document any damages, overages, or shortages. Your contributions will help the team update the status board and identify areas for improvement.
Leadership & Safety: Uphold Crusoe's relentless commitment to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures. You will provide input to management regarding staffing and hiring decisions and actively participate in training new team members to foster a positive, team-oriented culture.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Experience: Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or related role.
Technical Skills: Required forklift experience and the ability to use basic hand tools.
Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. You must also be a collaborative team player with a good attitude and a willingness to learn and improve.
Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. You must also be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use your arms and hands for a full workday.
Bonus Points:
Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., Infor Visual, Acumatica).
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation and equity packages
Restricted Stock Units
Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
Employer contributions to HSA account
Paid parental leave
Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
Professional development & tuition reimbursement
Mental health & wellness support
Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
Cell phone stipend
401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
Volunteer time off
Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
Daily meals allowance
Additional perks & programs specific to location
Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $21 - $30/hr + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
