The Solar Technician is responsible for performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on solar site equipment, including inverters, trackers, and substations. They must also conduct daily site inspections, troubleshoot complex technical faults, and manage vegetation to ensure optimal facility performance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant technical experience or education. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and maintain a valid driver's license.

The Grimes Solar Energy Center is a 210 MW-AC solar powered generation facility located at 12347 Co Rd 164, Iola, TX 77861. Utilizing Sungrow Inverters and Soltec trackers.

As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in operating and maintaining the facility.

This is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.
$29.49 - $49.97 USD Hourly
Bonus: 0% - 10%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
