The HVAC Serviceman will commission, service, and maintain advanced commercial heating and cooling systems while acting as a trusted advisor to customers. Responsibilities include performing repairs, identifying system enhancements, and providing labor and material quotes to ensure facility efficiency.
Candidates must have at least two years of practical experience in commercial or industrial HVAC mechanical troubleshooting. A valid driver's license and EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification are required, along with a willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Johnson Controls offers competitive pay and benefits. This opportunity offers the chance to commission, service and maintain the most advanced commercial equipment in the world. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will consult with our customers on comfort, building inefficiency and other service-related issues.
We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards and advancement. You will have direct access to Factory Technical Support. We will equip you with the safety equipment, uniforms, tools, cell phone, technical equipment and vehicle required for your job.
Servicemen must have two years practical working experience in residential, light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. You may be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify your skills and knowledge. Servicemen may assist Journeymen in the repair and service of centrifugal, absorption, screw and scroll chillers.
You will perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems and recommend solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently. You will identify enhancements that will provide customer systems reliability and sustainability at the time of service and provide labor and material quotes to support your recommendations. We provide incentives for executed recommendations you quote. You will participate in weekend, night, and holiday call out service on a rotating basis.

Pay Range: $44.35 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
