Responsibilities
Own end-to-end launch readiness for new products across global retail and online channels, ensuring all operational dependencies are resolved. Drive cross-functional alignment and implement management systems to optimize fulfillment from order placement to delivery.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or supply chain, specifically within NPI or logistics. Must demonstrate the ability to lead complex global programs in a matrixed organization and handle high-pressure launch environments.
Full job description
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.
The WW Retail Fulfillment Operations (RFO) team operates at the critical intersection of Retail and Operations, ensuring every Apple customer and channel can get what they need, when they need it, anywhere in the world. The NPI Readiness team within WWRFO owns the launch readiness strategies and execution plans that ensure new products launch flawlessly across Retail and Online channels globally. They drive cross-functional readiness and alignment, and ensure every system and process is ready to support an exceptional customer experience from day one.
The NPI Readiness Program Manager is a critical DRI in making that happen. You will shape strategies that influence how Apple brings new products to market, own fulfillment readiness across launch programs, and serve as a trusted cross-functional partner from the early stages of planning through post ops review. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, operates with a genuine commitment to excellence, and takes real pride in delivering when the stakes are highest.
Description
- Own end-to-end launch readiness for new product introductions across Retail and Online channels, coordinating WW and regional teams to ensure every operational dependency is identified, tracked, and resolved ahead of launch.
- Shape launch quote, fulfillment, and conversion strategies, influencing launch decisions through data analysis, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach. Provide timely updates and escalate critical risks to cross-functional and executive teams.
- Partner with SDM, BPR, Retail, Online, Logistics, Ops Readiness and RCC to define launch strategies, build execution plans, and ensure cross-functional teams are prepared and aligned ahead of every launch.
- Build and maintain the communications infrastructure that keeps partners globally aligned on launch status, changing plans, and critical decisions.
- Establish and continuously improve the management systems and processes that support fulfillment readiness execution and accuracy from order placement through delivery.
- Drive post ops analysis for each launch to identify root causes and opportunities for continuous process and system improvement. Implement new processes effectively through change management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to develop and implement tools and automation that improve the team's capabilities and scale business processes over time.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or supply chain, with demonstrated success leading complex global programs in New Product Introductions, Order Management, or Logistics.
Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs in a global matrixed organization without direct authority, with a track record of building relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and presenting effectively to executive teams.
Ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans, track critical milestones across concurrent work streams, and maintain clarity and momentum under dynamic timelines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. In an environment where launch precision directly impacts the customer experience, getting it right matters deeply.
High levels of discretion and sound judgment. This role operates with access to confidential information and requires a consistent track record of integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple concurrent launch programs across different timelines and geographies, maintaining clarity on priorities and keeping partners aligned through rapidly changing conditions.
Highly effective under pressure, remaining calm, organized, and decisive during high-stakes launch windows with tight timelines and limited information.
Forward-thinking with the ability to make sound decisions with incomplete or fragmented information, comfortable moving fluidly between the macro strategic view and the micro operational detail.
Experience with system and tool launches, process design and implementation, or fulfillment systems setup.
A genuine passion for the customer experience, with the drive to ensure every decision made in the launch process connects back to delivering the best possible outcome for Apple's customers.
Experience spanning both worldwide strategy and regional execution, with the ability to operate fluidly between the two.
We’re a diverse collective of thinkers and doers, continually reimagining what’s possible to help us all do what we love in new ways. And the same innovation that goes into our products also applies to our practices — strengthening our commitment to leave the world better than we found it. This is where your work can make a difference in people’s lives. Including your own.
