Develop and maintain laser system performance modeling tools to inform architecture trades and system requirements. Provide technical leadership during field tests, including data analysis and troubleshooting to validate system performance.
Requires a Master's degree in Engineering or Science (PhD preferred) and at least 7 years of experience. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Personnel Security Clearance and possess expertise in electro-optical modeling and programming.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively work across multiple discipline groups to develop a comprehensive understanding of the system architecture and operation, develop representative models at appropriate levels of detail, and critically examine results for accuracy and realism.
