GED is responsible for architecting, acquiring, and maintaining the nation’s most advanced space and ground systems.
In this role, you will contribute to the success of the Chief Architect (CA) and the broader enterprise by developing and maintaining an integrated schedule and capability roadmap. You will engage with System Program Office (SPO) representatives to collect and consolidate schedule data, align program timelines with enterprise objectives, and ensure transparency across stakeholders. This is an exceptional opportunity to build expertise while playing a critical role in driving the success of the nation’s most advanced ground capabilities.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Engage with System Program Office (SPO) representatives to collect and analyze schedule data, fostering relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate information.
Develop and maintain an integrated enterprise schedule and capability roadmap to support CA and align with mission and enterprise-level priorities.
Ensure synchronization of efforts across programs and SPOs to highlight interdependencies and communicate potential schedule impacts to leadership and stakeholders effectively.
Develop and deliver clear and concise systems engineering deliverables related to schedule management, including integrated schedules, roadmaps, and milestone tracking.
Support enterprise-level decision-making processes by providing timely and accurate schedule updates, identifying risks, and forecasting potential issues or delays.
Participate in cross-program reviews, technical assessments, and readiness activities to ensure program schedules align with enterprise-level milestones.
Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate lessons learned, best practices, and updates to cross-program systems engineering standards in the Enterprise Management Framework.
Serve as a liaison between CA, SPOs, and other mission partners, maintaining a transparent and collaborative working relationship.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline) and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
3 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering and schedule management activities similar to the responsibilities described.
Experience working in a SETA environment or directly supporting the Intelligence Community (IC).
Proficiency in schedule development, schedule integration, and capability roadmaps.
Familiarity with systems engineering fundamentals and requirements verification and validation.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to foster productive relationships with senior Government stakeholders and diverse teams.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on identifying opportunities, managing risks, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
