The Group Personal Trainer creates and delivers fitness programming for small groups of 2-6 participants to help them reach health and wellness goals. They are responsible for ensuring participant safety through proper form, technique, and modifications while maintaining a positive member experience.
Candidates must hold an NCCA accredited certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM) or a related degree, along with CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with members of all fitness levels are required.
The Group Personal Trainer is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting them and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The Trainer creates and delivers Personal Training programming based on a group (2-6) of participants' goals and abilities while maintaining boundaries of certification. The Trainer will instruct a group of participants on correct position and body alignment to prevent injuries.
