The Senior Route Setter leads setting days and forerunning sessions to ensure high-quality, safe, and consistent climbing routes. They also mentor junior setters and support the Head Setter with rotation planning and operational organization.
Candidates must have over 4 years of professional setting experience, the ability to set up to 5.13a/V8, and PRS 2/WAH 1 certifications. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and comfort working at heights of 40+ feet are required.

Central Rock Gym provides the highest quality indoor climbing experience for beginner to advanced climbers. Our route setting, friendly staff and cleanliness give you the ability to train your hardest and push yourself to the limit, while the community of climbers will provide a great source of fun, and a place to engage with others. Our rock wall designs are state of the art and include the best top-roping, leading, and bouldering around. Walltopia and Rockwerx have worked in some of the best slabs, lead arches, aretes, beginner areas and steep slopes that any gym has seen, while maintaining open areas for competition viewing and relaxation between climbs. In addition to our climbing, we offer exercise equipment, a weight training area, yoga, and comfortable areas for parents to watch and relax with wireless internet. We host incredible group events and have the multifunctional spaces to provide food and refreshments.
