FIFA has established a Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil to work together with FIFA Zurich to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ (“FWWC2027”) that for the first time ever, is hosted in South America in Brazil. THE POSITION

Reporting to the Senior Catering Manager and the Catering Manager, this role is responsible for operational and management support activities and services, with a view to ensuring the delivery and quality of the planned services. This includes catering services at competition and non-competition venues for multiple client groups such as workforce, media, broadcast, teams, match officials, ceremonies, and youth programmes, in close collaboration with all stakeholders.

Study, develop and/or improve processes in planning and establishing controls to ensure better service delivery quality. Supervise the activities to ensure compliance with the planning and established quality standards.

This role will be responsible for assist with planning, supervise and executing CAT operations, ensuring top-quality catering services throughout the tournament. Further, this role will oversee quality assurance of all catering operations for Workforce and Volunteers, Youth Programme, Teams and Officials, Broadcast and Media dining experiences.

This position requires effective and efficient coordination of catering operations, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Key areas of focus include transparency, communication, problem-solving, innovation, issue escalation, and the use of reporting tools to guarantee operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with catering planning and operations for multiple client groups during the FWWC and its competition-related events
  • Coordinate catering service concepts aligned with client expectations and service levels.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical specifications for catering requirements, equipment, and spaces to provide the required service at competition and no competition venues
  • Work closely with appointed venue caterers, FIFA functional areas, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality catering services
  • Work to ensure that the catering company meets the agreed KPIs and ensure menu options are tested and meet quality standards for all user groups.
  • Oversee food safety and quality assurance of catering operations across all venues.
  • Integrate catering operational plans into overall venue plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across venues.


YOUR PROFILE

Education:
  • University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education).

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years delivering catering services at sporting events.
  • Proven strong record of experience in execution catering services for complex events involving multiple venues, stakeholders and authorities.
  • Knowledge of local food and beverage regulations, including food safety standards applicable to sporting events.
  • Customer service experience, with references for excellence.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Communication and crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and provide decisive leadership.
  • Flexibility when faced with ambiguity or constant change
  • IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
