What success looks like in this role:

• Performs software QA engineering for assigned ServiceNow applications and modules, with a focus on both functional and regression testing.

• Collaborates with the Engineering POD and other stakeholders to review client requirements, solution design and related functional specifications.

• Designs, develops and maintains detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications for ServiceNow features and customizations.

• Designs, builds and maintains automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), and contributes to enhancing the overall test automation strategy.

• Executes manual and automated test cases, analyzes results, logs defects and reports findings to relevant stakeholders and teams in a clear and structured manner.

• Investigates, triages and troubleshoots issues, providing clear insights, root-cause inputs and recommendations to developers, product owners and leadership.

• Prepares and maintains test documentation, test evidence and reporting artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Contributes to continuous quality improvement initiatives for the ServiceNow platform, including test coverage optimization and regression risk reduction.

• Estimates effort and timelines for own testing (manual and ATF-based), providing inputs into overall test planning and sprint commitments.

• Provides guidance and mentorship to junior testers on ServiceNow testing practices and effective use of ATF.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Designs, builds and maintains automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), and contributes to enhancing the overall test automation strategy.
• Executes manual and automated test cases, analyzes results, logs defects and reports findings to relevant stakeholders and teams in a clear and structured manner.
• ServiceNow CSA Certified
• ATF micro certification
