The Shelter Aide oversees emergency shelter operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests. Responsibilities include managing intake paperwork, monitoring participant behavior, and enacting safety plans as necessary.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and two to five years of experience working with homeless populations or those with mental health and substance abuse histories. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and computer skills are required.
