Develop and lead a comprehensive fundraising program to secure $1 million or more in annual gift revenue for assigned service lines. Manage donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship while collaborating with hospital leadership and the Philanthropy Council.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications and at least 5 years of fundraising experience. Demonstrable success in major gift capital campaigns is required, and a CFRE certification is preferred.

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
To develop a comprehensive fundraising program for assigned service line(s) and/or entities, focusing on major and planned gifts by regularly securing $1 million or more of annual gift revenue. Collaborate with both the Donor Engagement and hospital campus fundraising teams in the implementation of all fundraising activities. Staff and support the Philanthropy Council. Work with Joint Operations Team (JOT) on the development of the funding objectives and timely distribution of funds, with a goal of distributing $1 million or more annually in support of programs and capital projects. The Major Gift Officer is responsible for the success of philanthropy programs through leadership of donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
