The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care, including hygiene, comfort measures, and vital sign monitoring under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and be a graduate of a Nursing Assistant program with a current state-registered CNA license. A current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
The 5th Floor Acute Care Neuro Trauma Unit at St. Anthony Hospital, an achieved Magnet® hospital, is a 36-bed unit specializing in neuro, trauma, and ortho. Our department is the main service line for our patients that need the care that a Level 1 Trauma Center Provides. Patients are from all age groups (usually 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients.

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.

The schedule for this position is three 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
