The Peer Support Specialist engages with community partners and stakeholders to build referral pathways and resolve systemic issues. They also provide mentorship and advocacy to support foster youth and their caregivers in navigating challenges.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Experience working with foster youth is strongly preferred.
Location: Winston Salem, NC
Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.

The Peer Support Specialist is responsible for engaging with community partners and builds strategy with local stakeholders; providing education, strengthening relationships, and helping resolve case or broader systems issues.
