The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for identifying patient needs and providing appropriate care based on the patient's condition and age. They also perform timely documentation in medical records and assist patients with activities of daily living.
Applicants must hold a current state NA I license and have completed an NA course from an accredited school. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.

Join our team in a 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
