The Student Success Navigator manages a caseload of foster youth to develop and implement individualized success plans that improve academic and emotional outcomes. They serve as a primary liaison between school teams, children services, and group home staff to ensure coordinated wraparound support.
Candidates must have at least an associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in youth development, education, or social services. Proficiency in data tracking systems and a valid driver's license are required for this role.
Position Summary
The County Youth Student Success Navigator (CYSSN) serves as a dedicated mentor, advocate, and connector for County foster youth placed in group homes within Dayton's Hope Zone. Each Navigator will manage a caseload of youth, co-develop individualized Student Success Plans (SSPs), and ensure coordinated wraparound support that improves attendance, academic outcomes, and emotional stability.
Navigators work closely with Children Services caseworkers, home managers, school administrators, and Omega CDC's Education Department to ensure each youth has consistent, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented guidance toward long-term success.

The Omega Community Development Corporation (Omega CDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by the Omega Baptist Church in 1997. Our mission is to equip individuals, families and children with resources, tools, and opportunities to break the cycle of generational poverty and achieve self-sufficiency through education, workforce development and advocacy.
