Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and research studies to facilitate clinical trial participation at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. Responsibilities include implementing individualized navigation plans, providing patient education, and coordinating appointments within a multi-disciplinary medical system.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment. A bachelor's degree in a healthcare or social science field and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred.

JOB SUMMARY
This job is responsible for working in a collaborative manner with multi-disciplinary medical center in the continuum of care of these patients, their caregivers and/or families to achieve desired goals.
This job supports patients, families, and caregivers who are seeking, considering, or participating in clinical trials at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. This role helps reduce barriers to clinical trial participation through patient education, coordination, culturally and linguistically appropriate communication, and collaboration with clinical and research teams.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, social sciences, biological sciences, nursing, health administration, or related field.
Experience:
o Experience in oncology, clinical research, navigation, or patient-facing support role.
o Experience utilizing electronic medical records and tracking systems.
o Bilingual in English and Spanish.
