The NSO Apprentice undergoes training to represent veterans and their families in pursuing disability claims and benefits from the VA. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, preparing legal submissions, and representing claimants before hearing panels.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, be a member of the DAV, and be eligible for VA Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are required.
