The LPN Nursing Supervisor ensures the clinic's medication room and medical records comply with federal and state laws. They oversee daily clinical operations, supervise nursing and support staff, and manage quality assurance activities.
Requirements

Bellingham Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Bellingham,WA is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation Our nursing team provides compassionate, high quality safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that the Medication Room of the clinic is in full compliance with all facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times.
Supervises daily clinical operations for staff, makes staff assignments and creates schedules, updates schedules for providers and support staff when changes are made.
Supervises and evaluates work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service or maintenance staff for the work group, and other clinic staff, as directed.
Responsible for ensuring that medical records for patients are in compliance with facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times, will review medical records to ensure compliance.
Oversees quality assurance activities and compliance with operational standards, participates in program development, development or implementation of operating policy and procedure, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices, as requested.
Assists with the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
May be required to administer medications per physician/provider orders, accurately documents medication administration, and ensure accurate count of controlled substance medication administration on required documents.
May be required to perform blood and other specimen collection and processing and reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians.
Based on clinic service model, may be required to transport medication to other locations and/or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation for roles at Bellingham CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Bellingham CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Washington as set forth below.Role Location: Washington
Calculated Salary Range for role: $80,000.80 - $81,120.00 per year.
Qualifications
Your Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN)
Minimum of 2+ years related nursing practice
Supervisory experience preferred, unless otherwise required by State or Licensing requirements.
Prefer experience in behavioral health/addiction recovery environment (inpatient or outpatient).
Preferred Experience:
Previous nursing experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including the safe handling, administration, and documentation of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Experience in medication dispensing, monitoring patient dosing, and observing for adverse reactions or medication interactions.
Understanding of nursing best practices related to substance use treatment, including trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
Accurate and timely documentation of medication administration records (MARs), patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.
Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, counselors, case managers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington
Current CPR certification where required by state regulation.

MAT at our outpatient opioid addiction treatment center incorporates medication and counseling into a personalized plan that reflects each patient’s unique needs and goals. Adults who enter treatment at Bellingham CTC complete thorough intake assessments, after which a member of our medical staff may recommend either methadone or buprenorphine. These medications can help patients end their opioid use without experiencing the distressing withdrawal symptoms that could quickly push them into relapse. When taken as directed by a qualified professional, methadone and buprenorphine are safe and effective for both short- and long-term use.
In addition to receiving either methadone or buprenorphine, patients at Bellingham CTC also participate in individual and group counselling sessions. At our opioid addiction treatment center in Bellingham, Washington, counselling sessions are safe and welcoming forums where patients can process their experiences, learn about opioid addiction and recovery, practice vital relapse-prevention skills, and share support with other adults who are working toward similar goals. All counseling sessions at our center are led by experienced professionals.
