The Youth Worker provides supervision, crisis counseling, and daily life skills support to homeless youth within a trauma-informed framework. Responsibilities include completing intakes, monitoring building safety, and maintaining client records for funding reports.
Candidates need a Diploma in Social Services or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years of experience in a shelter or residential setting. Mandatory requirements include a valid Ontario Driver's License, vehicle access, CPI/UMAB and First Aid/CPR certifications, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

What We Can Offer You:
Position Profile:
We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated Youth Worker that will work out of one of our Emergency Youth Shelters located in Mississauga. The Youth Worker role is a fundamental role at Our Place Peel to support the youth within the housing first framework that is strength-based and trauma-informed. The shift runs from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am on a 5 week rotation.
