The Principal Software Quality Engineer will provide technical feedback during code reviews and perform process audits to ensure compliance with standards. They will also analyze quality metrics, facilitate root cause analysis, and monitor formal software test execution.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience. Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python and an active Secret Clearance are required.
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Software Quality Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Melbourne, FL, at the Melbourne campus. Telecommute/remote is not an option for this position. This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80, to allow employees every other Friday off.
The Principal Software Quality will provide highly technical feedback during code review to ensure compliance with standards and best practices and that the code is correct, efficient, and maintainable. They will implement tools that aid in the collection and analysis of data relevant to Software Quality’s statement of work.
