The Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist fabricates, repairs, and fits custom orthoses and prostheses for pediatric patients while supervising technical staff. They also provide direct patient care, educate families on device usage, and collaborate with medical staff in a clinical setting.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in orthotics or prosthetics. A professional certification from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics or the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification is required.

A Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist fabricates a variety of orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients as prescribed by the medical staff, measuring and fitting patients for appropriate orthoses, and serving as a resource to staff regarding assigned areas of responsibility. In this vital role, and as a member of our team centered approach to care, you will have the ability to form connections with our pediatric patients as they grow, using CAD/CAM technology and fabricating onsite.
The pay range for this position is $48.70 - 73.05/hour.
