The APP provides exceptional patient care by performing complex interventional radiology procedures and managing clinical operations under radiologist supervision. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, hospital rounds, and assisting in the development of clinical protocols and training for new hires.
Candidates must have graduate-level education and APP certification (NCCPA) along with ACLS, BLS, PALS, NCMB, and DEA licensure. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years in surgery, trauma, critical care, or vascular settings with direct clinical experience.
We're looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) who will work in accordance with the Radiologists to provide exceptional patient care and assist the Radiologists in the day-to-day clinical operations. Must be able to adapt to various clinical situations and perform a variety of complex procedures. The APP has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs and also involves other care partners (radiologist, referring providers, staff support) as needed to help ensure the appropriate provision of clinical services. This position would primarily support the southern Atrium Health facilities (Pineville, Union & Union West).
