Where others see challenges, we see opportunities that we pursue with urgency, rigorous science, and unwavering commitment to the communities we serve. We are a clinical-stage company currently focused on post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH), Wolfram syndrome, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Amylyx has assembled an experienced team ready to take action because the communities we serve have no time to wait. If you share our passion and are determined to tackle some of medicine’s toughest problems, we encourage you to read the opportunity below and apply.
The Opportunity
As a key leader within a growing Finance organization, the Senior Director, Revenue and Government Pricing will have end-to-end responsibility for revenue accounting, gross-to-net operations, government pricing compliance, and oversight of key outsourced service providers supporting revenue operations and government pricing. This role will establish and scale the processes, controls, systems, and governance needed to support a growing commercial pharmaceutical business while ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The individual will partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, IT, Executive Leadership, and external vendors to drive scalable and compliant business processes while providing analytical and strategic leadership that informs pricing decisions, supports commercial strategy, and optimizes long-term revenue. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building organizations, processes, and capabilities from the ground up while establishing the commercial finance infrastructure needed to support a growing biotech company.
We anticipate hiring the Sr. Director, Revenue and Government Pricing in September 2026.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of revenue accounting, gross-to-net operations, government pricing, and related commercial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate and inform pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and market access strategies, leveraging revenue, gross-to-net, and government pricing insights to optimize business performance.
Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue, gross-to-net reserves, accounts receivable, and related balances, including journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, controls, and management reporting.
Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to support forecasting, contracting, product launches, revenue recognition, and gross-to-net planning.
Own the Company's government pricing function, balancing compliance obligations with strategic evaluation of pricing, contracting and market access decisions, while overseeing methodologies, controls, calculations, validations, and submissions across applicable federal and state pricing programs.
Serve as the business owner for the outsourced government pricing provider with accountability for service delivery, data integrity, regulatory compliance, service level agreement performance, issue resolution, audit readiness, and ongoing process improvements.
Oversee commercial operations performed by third-party partners, including 3PL billing, invoicing, cash application, chargebacks, and accounts receivable activities, ensuring operational effectiveness and financial accuracy.
Partner cross-functionally to develop and enhance revenue and gross-to-net reporting, analytics, and forecasting capabilities to support internal reporting and business decision-making.
Establish, enhance, and maintain scalable processes, systems, policies, and internal controls to support business growth, audit readiness, SOX compliance, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Lead internal and external audit activities and support SEC reporting requirements related to revenue, gross-to-net, and government pricing.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on revenue, gross-to-net and government pricing.
Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, CPA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry, including significant leadership responsibility for revenue accounting, gross-to-net, and government pricing.
Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and controls and experience supporting SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q).
Experience with government pricing platforms and managing outsourced service providers.
Supervisory experience directly managing, developing, and coaching team members, including setting priorities, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, ability to present financial information in a meaningful and understandable way.
Strong attention to detail; able to balance multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally and periodically conduct business during non-standard hours to support global partners and business needs.
Preferred Requirements

Experience supporting commercial pharmaceutical product launches, including GTN modeling, government pricing readiness, and commercialization processes.
