Course Graders are responsible for grading student assessments and assignments within the Canvas Learning Management System for Precalculus. They also participate in calibration meetings and assist with seasonal or urgent projects to support the OnRamps mission.
Applicants must be current UT Austin undergraduate students majoring in Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics with experience in Canvas LMS and MS Office. Proficiency in Equation Editor is required, while experience with Smartsheet is preferred.

OnRamps prepares students and teachers for success in the classroom and beyond. We build partnerships across K12 and higher education to raise the bar on dynamic experiences that advance student success while lowering barriers to access and opportunity.
OnRamps Course Graders support course management in the OnRamps Discovery Precalculus course through grading of student assessments. They also provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects.
Maintains accuracy and consistency while grading course assignments and assessments in Canvas Learning Management System.
Attends calibration meetings and participate in training to align feedback and deepen transferrable skills.
Assists with seasonal and urgent projects that align to the OnRamps mission.
Current undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Mathematics or a related field (such as Engineering or Physics).
Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation Editor.
Experience with Canvas LMS.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual-enrollment and college-readiness initiatives.
Expert computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation editor.
Experiences with Smartsheet.
$12.00 - $14.50 hourly
