As an Account Manager in the Vietnam Financial Services Industry team at Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of Cloud & AI for this segment. Your responsibilities will include account management, driving adoption in named accounts, revenue growth, and market penetration across your assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both the business acumen to drive engagements at the CxO level and the technical sales background that enables you to engage with CTOs, software developers, and technology architects in the Financial Services Industry.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with country and cross-functional teams to define account strategies, and identify and close opportunities that drive business expansion within these accounts.

- Team with customers' technology and lines-of-business teams to build and strengthen strategic relationships across these accounts — articulating a clear vision, generating enthusiasm, and driving impact across all business groups. Operate at the most senior levels within these accounts to help implement a broad strategy that earns customer acceptance and drives service adoption.

- Engage all relevant AWS resources — Executives, Solutions Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services — to advance customers' interests.

- Develop and execute against account plans, and consistently meet and exceed your goals and targets.

- Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

- Partner with our partner ecosystem to extend reach and drive adoption.

- Recruit new customer references.

- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the complexities and requirements of financial services customers, with experience both selling to and partnering with them. They bring direct sales experience — leading and building teams that over-achieve business results by growing revenue within existing customers and penetrating net-new accounts. They understand the technical and practice requirements involved, and have experience growing and leading teams with those skills. Above all, this leader drives engagement at the CxO level and across technical teams, IT leadership, and Alliance, Marketing, and Sales executives. This person is an influencer by nature — someone customers and partners are enthusiastic to interact and communicate with.

Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years of enterprise technology sales as well as experience selling to enterprises businesses.
- Demonstrated business acumen to comprehend customer strategy and industry business drivers.
- Target oriented individual with demonstrable sales experience dealing with B2B customers having demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication, analytical written and presentation skills for C-level audience.
- Ability to characterize value of products/some technical knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience managing strategic accounts and working with multiple business units and technology teams.
- A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing or related field.
- Experience in driving the adoption of new technologies and solutions preferred.
- Understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service would be preferred but not required.
