ABOUT THE JOB:

This is hybrid Product Owner and Tech BA, responsible for representing business and technology stakeholders to shape, prioritise and deliver solutions that maximise value to Technology and Enterprise Operations (T&EO).

This role combines product ownership and business analysis capabilities to translate business needs into clear, prioritised and deliverable outcomes.

The role focuses on enabling delivery of solutions that are enabled by AI, supporting Technology Risk Remediation and initiatives identified through the AI Program. The solutions delivered are primarily focused on internal platforms, controls, process optimisation and operational uplift rather than customer-facing products.

Partnering closely with COO stakeholders, AI Program teams and engineering squads the Product Owner/Tech BA identifies opportunities, defines value, and translates these into prioritised backlogs. This includes embedding AI-enabled capabilities (e.g. automation, intelligent workflows, decision support) into business processes and technology systems to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and strengthen risk controls.

The role is accountable for ensuring that all features are aligned to measurable business value, particularly in improving risk posture, operational effectiveness and compliance. They also play a key role in shaping problem statements, defining target states, and ensuring delivery teams clearly understand the “why” behind each initiative.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential capabilities

• Strong ability to translate business and risk requirements into technical specifications, including system interactions, APIs, data flows and workflows
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to define solution architecture, integration patterns and non-functional requirements
• Strong backlog management with a focus on technical decomposition
• Proven analytical capability including process modelling, data analysis and system impact assessment
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, DevOps and release management
• Strong knowledge of data and integration considerations (e.g. data lineage, quality, transformation, access controls)
• Ability to define clear, testable acceptance criteria aligned to both functional and non-functional requirements
• Strong focus on quality, auditability and compliance in solution design
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience

• Experience working as a Product Owner/Technical Business Analyst or hybrid role in agile delivery environments
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and backlog management
• Experience delivering change in complex enterprise or regulated environments
• Experience in Technology Risk, controls uplift or remediation programs (highly desirable)
• Ability to simplify complex processes and identify optimisation opportunities
• Exposure to data-driven or AI-enabled solutions (desirable)
