The Senior Retail Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing prescribed medications and ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards in a high-volume environment. They will also contribute to department strategy and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or Pharm D and possess an active Pharmacist license with the Florida Board of Pharmacy. A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience is required, with preference given to those with retail experience.
You will ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques, and a review process before shipping medications to patients. You will operate in a high-volume environment, supporting the accurate delivery of medications to a primarily elderly customer population. You will begin to influence the department's strategy and contribute to process improvements that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. You will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and perform work with minimal direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments while maintaining a focus on quality, accuracy, and service excellence for our members.
This is an onsite position - 10401 SW 40th Street Miami, FL 33165
8-hour shift Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm EST (based on business needs)
